The view was amazing with the ocean at your door steps. The host, Gladys gave a such a warm welcome and even left wine in the fridge for us. This place IS paradise!

Gladys, the very friendly host, greeted me and showed me around. The location was perfect – on the water, private, cozy, rustic but with all the necessary amenities for a 2 day retreat. Gladys grew up there and provided some interesting background on the location, enriching the stay. Weather was stormy but I liked that.

The perfect place for a romantic getaway! Ideal location directly on a private beach. The cottage itself was sweet, cozy and homely. Absolutely clean. Only the sounds of the ocean. It was just wonderful just to sit inside (November) and watch the ocean though the large glass doors and windows. The owners made us really feel home from home, a bottle of wine in the fridge, fresh flowers on the table. We will definitely be back!

A quiet, picturesque place to recharge. Great central location to explore the coast or see Sooke bay by kayak. Perfect size and romantic spot for two.

Location. View. Privacy. Price. Saw a pod of Orcas go by one morning! Also a sea otter visited on a couple of days! So it really is Orca View!!

What a fantastic little cottage by the sea. It’s small and quite eclectic but if you’re over soulless hotels or resorts, this is the place for you! Wonderful for a romantic getaway for two. It’s right on the beach with a fire pit overlooking the waves. The driveway is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention but that’s the least of your worries. We were sad to leave and you will be too.
